• Notes

  Lester Sharp, of Flora, formerly of Noble, died Friday afternoon at the Clay County Hospital at Flora. The deceased was a native of Clay County, but lived near Noble for a number of years. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Frank-Branson Funeral Home at Flora with interment in Hanna cemetery near Noble. Survivors include his wife, Betty; two sons, Tommy Lee and James, both at home; a daughter, Carolyn Sue at home; a foster son, Charles of Fort Lewis, Wash.; four brothers, Ray, Melvin, and Raymond, all of Clay City and Leonard of Flora; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Payne of Clay City, Mrs. Mildred Marvor of Joliet, Mrs. Mae Eastin, Mrs. Leora Persinger, Mrs. Alene Coggin and Mrs. Ida Frances Persinger all of Flora, and two grandchildren.
